WILDERNESS FIRST AID COURSE (JACKSONVILLE AL.) 8-10 JUNE 2018
This Event Presented Jointly by Crisis Application Group, EmergiPro Training, and East-West Farm:
Duration: 2 days (2 half, 1 full day) - 16 Training Hours
Cost: $250 per Student (Includes Certificate of Completion and ASHI Certification Card)
$25 per Student Site Fee (cash upon arrival)
Students: 6 Minimum - 20 Maximum
Restrictions: Course Open to all legal participants. No prior medical skill prerequisites.

This Course is well suited for students of all experience levels. Whether you just want a basic understanding of first aid for situations where EMS response is not readily available, to the practitioner just wanting to refresh the fundamentals.
Each student will get classroom and hands on experience with patients in various scenarios and situations drawn directly from everyday medical emergencies.
Education will continue around the campfire! Come Camp Out with us!

Day-1 (Friday) - 1-5pm

Day-3 (Sunday) - 9am-Noon

Weather Appropriate Attire - Hot or Cold, Snow or Sweat, Rain or Shine: if it's safe to train, we will train! No Shorts, flip flops or sandals.
Sturdy hiking or work boots suggested

Nearest Airport: (HSV) Huntsville AL (coordinate with CAG if pickup is needed)
Lodging: Onsite Camping Strongly Suggested!
If students are flying or need camping gear, CAG will happily help arrange suitable equipment.
Restrooms, Firewood and Water will be provided.
Alternate Lodging: Various Hotels Available in Gadsden AL. 25 minutes away
Meals: Students should bring their own food and means to prepare them at the campsite. Firewood will be provided.
Course will be held rain or shine, dress appropriately.
Any Safety Calls (weather cancellations) will be made the day of training by CAG staff. We suggest to new students that they do not spend a lot of money on gear and accessories until they have taken the course. We generally don't make any specific gear recommendations during the class. The intent is to create INFORMED consumers and allow students to make purchases based on their experience and new skills.
Students are required to adhere to local, state, and federal laws as well as CAGs standards of conduct. It is assumed that CAG and Affiliates that all students are legally authorized to conduct this training.
